Local schools were contacted and encouraged to select suitable candidates for this competition. We had 9 entrants from 3 local schools.

Anna Toner from Loreto College was selected to go forward to the regional final where three candidates were selected from 67 students across the region.

 

The three students selected will go on a trip to the Parliament in Strasbourg where they will meet and discuss topical issues with other European students.

 

The trip will also include visits to Stormont and the Irish Parliament and many interesting places along the way! The other winners from our region were from Carrickfergus and Ballymena. A fantastic life changing opportunity for these young students.
